November 2021 Issue

Just a little gratitude can unlock the fullness of life.

As we come off of this Thanksgiving holiday, we just want to say thank you – for being a part of our community, for lifting one another up in each of our journeys and for investing in yourself. Each year we are blown away by the magnitude of support from this amazing community. Industry and Government thought leaders sharing their time and knowledge at our events, in our training courses and making themselves accessible when we just need to pick their brain.

This year’s GAIN Conference was the ultimate representation of the power of community and dedication to learning. We know everyone misses that F2F (we can’t wait to be back in action with in-person events in 2022) but saw really great connections and community activity happening online. A huge shout out and congratulations to our 2021 GAINer Award Winners! Keep crushing it with those amazing campaigns!

Be sure to stay tuned for our 2022 calendar as its dropping next month.

As always, if you have any questions or comments we’d love to hear from you at info@gmarku.com.

Mental Fitness – The X-Factor for Crushing Government Marketing

By Emily Harman, GMARKU Ambassador

I’m sure you’re already aware there’s a significant “mind game” to government marketing. As the former Director of the Department of the Navy’s Office of Small Business Programs, I met with contractor sales representatives frequently. I heard thousands of stories about the challenges of selling to the federal government.

These days you might be thinking that it’s difficult to stand out from the crowd. Or perhaps you’re thinking that face to face events made it so much easier to connect and, with COVID restrictions, it’s challenging to market your company’s products or services.

Over the next year, I’ll be sharing a series of monthly blogs on how you can address these challenges. I’d like to offer something for you to consider. It all starts with your mind. You can improve your results by strengthening your Mental Fitness (PQ).

The Cloud and the Future of Systems Integrators
December 10, 2021

Brought to you by Washington Technology

The evolution of computing in the government market has flowed from the mainframe to client server and now to the cloud.

Cloud computing as a concept and line of business is a decade old but it also is still in its infancy with a diverse and growing universe of opportunities as agencies put their focus on digitization and IT modernization.

In this Power Breakfast, Washington Technology will explore what the latest trends in cloud computing mean and how they are disrupting customers as well as government contractors.

GovTribe

GovTribe was built by former government contractors turned entrepreneurs, Nate Nash and Jay Hariani who left their jobs in federal contracting to start a company to build the tools that they needed in their former roles. GovTribe is a customer-centric data and collaboration platform that values transparency, ease of use, and intelligent recommendations that match user needs.

Here are two GovTribe benefits that we absolutely love at GMarkU: 1) Understand the competition and find teaming partners 2) Research market entry strategies. A sales and marketing leader’s dream come true!
